Thresholds & the Unknown: A Wild Hearth Reflection
The wisdom of liminal spaces.
There’s a certain kind of quiet that comes before a new life begins.
Not the kind that’s soft and peaceful, but the kind that feels raw, uncertain, stretching.
Like standing barefoot on a shoreline you didn’t plan to arrive at, holding memories of a self you’re not ready to let go of.
This is the space I’ve been moving through lately.
And it’s from this place that The Wild Hearth was born.
I created this offering because I longed for a place to gather that wasn’t just about solutions or strategies or linear steps forward. This path is anything but linear.
I wanted a space where the in-between was sacred and revered because it’s been one of my greatest teachers.
A space where becoming was honored.
It’s not just the diamond I wish to celebrate, but the pressure required to form it. The holy squeeze that shapes it. The quiet tension, the deep transformation, the alchemical process that happens long before the brilliance ever reveals itself.
A space where we can sit together at the edges of who we were, and gently tend to who we are becoming.
After a year of traveling the world by myself and experiencing the most freedom, independence, and joy I ever have…things are different now. Currently, I’m living with family as I lean into the unknown, build my body of work, and trust the cosmic breadcrumbs cheekily sprinkled along my path.
I’m so grateful for a place to land with people who love me. I recognize that having this available to me is a huge privilege.
And yet, duality is doing her dance.
I can feel the gratitude without denying that I’ve also been feeling the heaviness of disconnection and the grieving of my old life. There’s an ache of not feeling fully seen or understood, which often comes with family no matter the closeness or love present.
There are moments when I feel like I’m floating just outside of my own life—witnessing dynamics that don’t resonate with the woman I’ve become.
And I miss her.
I miss the version of me who was traveling the world, following my instincts, designing each day like art.
I miss the freedom, the solitude, the electric sense of anything is possible.
And still, I trust that this chapter is not a detour.
It’s a descent before the ascent.
A sacred pause.
A recalibration of who I’m becoming and what I’m here to build. This moment is fertile ground for my rebirth, and I trust that what is gestating here will emerge when the time is right.
This week, I pulled a few cards before sitting down to write.
🗝 The Four of Swords.
🌀 Community.
🌸 Yin.
They offered a soft kind of wisdom:
Rest. Receive. Let yourself be poured into.
There is time. There is space. There are people you haven’t met yet who will feel like home.
The Wild Hearth is a gathering place for these kinds of conversations—part storytelling, part soul reflection, part transmission. It’s a space for honoring the sacred pauses in our lives and deepening into the trust that we are always becoming. Each gathering is a weaving of story, wisdom, and connection—an invitation to step into the unknown with courage.
Every Sunday we gather live on Zoom.
When I feel inspired to share reflections from the gathering, like today, I’ll also write to you from the flame.
If you find yourself standing in a space that feels uncertain, I want you to know:
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are not lost.
You are in the middle of your becoming.
And I’m so honored to sit beside you in the dark while the next version of your life begins to spark.
More soon from the fire.
In the meantime, you can sign up for next week’s gathering here. You’ll also find several practices below to carry you through the threshold and cultivate the trust and courage you need to keep going. If you desire deeper support, let’s connect.
One step at a time.
With warmth and devotion,

5 Practices for Moving Through the Portal of the Unknown
1. Morning Embodiment: Anchor Your Energy
Each morning, before the world rushes in, place one hand on your heart and one on your womb.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in the words: “I trust myself.”
Breathe out: “I welcome what’s becoming.”
Repeat this for a few minutes as you feel your energy settle back into your body. Let this be your daily ceremony of remembrance.
Journal a few sentences on the following questions:
What feels exciting or alive in me today - even a tiny bit?
What’s one small thing I can do today that brings me closer to the life I want?
What would it feel like to believe it’s already happening?
2. Beauty as a Portal: Dress for the Life You’re Creating
Even if no one sees you, adorn yourself as the woman you’re becoming.
Put on earrings. Swipe on your favorite scent. Dress like you’re romancing your own life.
Let beauty be the bridge between where you are and where you're going.
Inspire yourself.
Choose one object, like a piece of jewelry or a scarf, that represents how you want to feel as this new version of you. Anchor that emotion and reality into the item and wear it/keep it with you as a reminder and an activation.
3. Evening Reflection: Your Becoming Book
Each night, jot down one moment where you chose trust over fear, even in the smallest way.
Call it your Becoming Book.
These small moments are the pressure points. The sacred squeezes.
The proof that even now, you’re transforming.
4. Sacred Vision Altar - Your Daily Temple
Set up a mini altar somewhere private and peaceful in your home.
Place items that represent how you want to feel in this next chapter. You can use images, candles, items from nature, oracle cards, flowers, anything that evokes a certain memory or energy that you want to amplify.
Sit, read, write, pray, and visualize in this sacred space.
Think of it as your daily temple.
5. Grief & Longing As Holy - The Holy Ache Before The Homecoming
Cry as an act of devotion.
Feel exactly how you’re feeling without guilt or shame. Let the energy move through you.
Dance and shake it out.
Write a letter to your current self from your future self—the one who has made it through already. What would she say to you?
Speak to the wind and the water. Let the earth hold you in your grief and longing. This is a special time to be honored.
Affirmations to Activate Trust & Receptivity:
I trust in the unseen paths unfolding before me. I am open to magic, soul family, and beauty beyond what I’ve known. My life is rising to meet me.
I honor where I am. Even in uncertainty, I am becoming. I don’t need to have it all figured out to be on my path.
